Position Overview

This role is integral to the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Division, focusing on empowering individuals with diabetes to effectively manage their health through innovative products that deliver precise data for informed decision-making. Our cutting-edge sensing technology is transforming glucose monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive territory strategy to optimize sales by evaluating market trends and leveraging available data to create, implement, monitor, and adjust plans to achieve both immediate and long-term objectives;

• Enhance sales and market share of sensors and blood glucose monitoring test strips by effectively educating healthcare professionals (HCPs) on the benefits of Abbott products for their patients;

• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing colleagues to increase market presence;

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the disease landscape, new product offerings (both Abbott and competitors), emerging tools, and evolving market conditions to drive sales and manage the territory efficiently;

• Provide clear, concise, and consistent communication regarding sales activities, follow-ups, and reporting, while adhering to key administrative and project timelines;

• Ensure all company equipment, records, and supplies are maintained according to company standards for optimal operational efficiency.

Qualifications Required

• A bachelor’s degree coupled with experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales;

• At least 3 years of sales experience;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills;

• Capability to devise and present creative solutions;

• Proficient negotiation skills.
