Position Overview

This role is focused on the sales of diabetes management products within the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. Our mission is to empower individuals with diabetes to take control of their health through innovative products that deliver precise data for informed decision-making. We are at the forefront of transforming glucose monitoring with advanced sensing technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive territory strategy to optimize sales by assessing market trends and leveraging available data to create, implement, monitor, and modify plans to achieve both immediate and long-term objectives;
• Increase sales and market share of glucose sensors and blood glucose monitoring test strips by effectively educating healthcare professionals on the benefits of Abbott products;
• Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to enhance market presence;
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the disease landscape, product innovations (both Abbott and competitors), and evolving market conditions to effectively manage the territory and drive sales;
• Provide clear, concise, and consistent communication regarding sales activities, follow-ups, and reporting, while adhering to key administrative deadlines;
• Ensure all company equipment, records, and supplies are maintained according to company standards for optimal operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree coupled with experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales;
• A minimum of three years of sales experience;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Excellent interpersonal and selling skills;
• Capability to devise and present creative solutions;
• Proficient negotiation skills.
