Overview

McDougall Insurance and Financial, the largest insurance brokerage in Eastern Ontario, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to provide exceptional customer service to clients in Brockville, Ontario. As a Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for communicating with clients, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate data entry.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $48,000.00-$55,000.00 per year, with additional benefits and bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legendary service directly to the client after the sale by the Sales Executive.
  • Communicate with clients in person, by phone, email, text, etc. to answer their questions/inquiries, provide professional advice or recommendations regarding their coverage, and collect relevant information.
  • Process additions, deletions, or changes to their policy on the appropriate broker management system (EPIC).
  • Evaluate all transactions and renewals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide quotations or estimates to clients on premiums, update information, confirm data and coverage, and record appropriate changes or adjustments.
  • Communicate with insurance company personnel as required.
  • Act as liaison with the insurer and balance the interests of the client, McDougall Insurance, and the insurance company.
  • Function as part of a team responsible for assisting in the collection of accounts receivable and in any other area as required.

  • Able to act in a professional manner at all times, maintaining trust and confidentiality.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing and eligible to obtain a RIBO license.
