Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate in Investor Relations and Account Management to collaborate with the Investor Relations and Client Portfolio Management team. This role involves supporting account management tasks and general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical abilities, with a proactive mindset and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and present ongoing reporting requirements for Hazelview accounts.
  • Facilitate corporate actions and trade settlements, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital draws, and distributions.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients/accounts, including Investor KYC/AML and new fund launches.
  • Manage relationships with third-party administrators, such as transfer agents and shareholder record keepers.
  • Address client inquiries and provide support to relationship managers and client portfolio management teams as needed.
  • Foster cross-departmental relationships with teams in Business Development, Finance & Operations, Real Estate Investment Management, and Global Securities.
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Possession or pursuit of CFA or CAIA designation, along with completion of the IFSE Institute's Exempt Market Proficiency Course (EMP), is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with trading activities and settlement processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset.
