Position Overview:

As a key member of the Strategic Initiatives and Investor Relations team within the Infrastructure Group, the Analyst/Associate will report directly to the Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Investor Relations. This role is dynamic and multifaceted, providing the opportunity to cultivate a robust internal network with investment professionals, finance and operations teams, and senior management across Brookfield's global offices. Additionally, the position allows for the development of a strong external network through engagement with private fund limited partners.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive investor materials, including presentations, fact sheets, due diligence documents, and internal communications.
  • Assist in the quarterly process by coordinating and preparing investor letters and operational updates, along with facilitating webcasts for private fund investors.
  • Organize investor meetings and roadshows for senior management, ensuring the preparation of presentations and speaking notes.
  • Oversee the Brookfield Infrastructure Funds investor inquiry inbox, directly communicating with investors and internal stakeholders to address a variety of inquiries.
  • Execute recurring quarterly and annual investor tasks, such as audit confirmations, wire transfers, and fund performance monitoring templates.
  • Monitor and analyze market activity within the infrastructure sector, gathering competitive intelligence.
  • Support various investor relations initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold or are pursuing an MBA, CFA, or accounting designation.
  • Strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of key finance concepts, including valuation, financial statement analysis, and investment performance measurement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A keen interest in financial markets and investment strategies.
