FutureSight is on the lookout for a proactive, detail-focused, and relationship-driven professional to enhance our Investor Relations efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in startups, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, paired with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting and scaling innovative ventures. This position demands a strategic mindset, exceptional analytical capabilities, and a knack for community and network development. Additionally, the candidate should exhibit strong mentorship skills to assist our portfolio companies in their growth and capital acquisition endeavors.

About FutureSight
FutureSight operates as a Venture Studio, strategically positioned to support world-class founders in launching B2B SaaS and Vertical AI enterprises. As we progress with our second fund, we seek an individual to bolster our Investor Relations strategy and initiatives for both FutureSight and our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Outreach and Engagement:
    • Design and implement events for Limited Partners (LPs) and potential investors, both in-person and virtual.
    • Assist in marketing initiatives, content generation, and outreach campaigns targeting new investors.
    • Identify speaking opportunities and relevant conferences for the leadership team.
    • Develop and refine presentation materials and marketing collateral for events and roadshows.
    • Maintain and update investor data within the CRM system.
  • Venture Capital Partnerships:
    • Support and eventually spearhead the capital acquisition strategies for FutureSight's portfolio.
    • Assess the investability of new ventures within the studio.
    • Research and implement capital readiness programs for CEOs and founders.
    • Engage with industry experts and active venture capital investors.
    • Facilitate outreach to target investors for early-stage ventures.
    • Lead networking efforts to establish new angel and VC partnerships.
    • Connect founders with investors in our network.
    • Track partnership details in the CRM system.
    • Assist founders in securing non-dilutive funding opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in investor relations, community development, sales operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in venture capital, startups, or investment banking is preferred.
  • A strong desire to learn about venture capital and the success of startups.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of business fundamentals is essential.
  • Knowledge of the technology and startup ecosystem.
  • Self-driven and motivated with a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with robust project management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional judgment regarding confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
