Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate in Investor Relations and Account Management to collaborate with and support the Investor Relations and Client Portfolio Management team. This role involves account management duties and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and deliver ongoing reporting requirements for Hazelview accounts.
  • Coordinate corporate actions and trade settlements, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital draws, and distributions.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients/accounts, including Investor KYC/AML and new fund launches.
  • Manage relationships with third-party administration entities, such as transfer agents and shareholder record keepers.
  • Address client inquiries and provide support to relationship managers, sales, and client portfolio management teams as needed.
  • Foster cross-departmental relationships with teams in Business Development, Finance & Operations, Real Estate Investment Management, and Global Securities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Possession or pursuit of CFA or CAIA designation, along with completion of the IFSE Institute's Exempt Market Proficiency Course (EMP), is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with trading activities and settlements.
