Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Associate in Investor Relations & Account Management to collaborate with our Investor Relations and Client Portfolio Management teams. This role involves supporting account management tasks and general administrative functions. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication and analytical abilities, demonstrating both proactive independence and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and present ongoing reporting needs for Hazelview accounts.
  • Facilitate corporate actions and trade settlements, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital draws, and distributions.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients/accounts, including Investor KYC/AML and new fund launches.
  • Manage relationships with third-party administration partners, such as transfer agents and shareholder record keepers.
  • Address client inquiries and provide support to relationship managers and client portfolio management teams as necessary.
  • Foster interdepartmental relationships across Business Development, Finance & Operations, Real Estate Investment Management, and Global Securities.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the financial services sector.
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Possession or pursuit of CFA or CAIA designation, along with completion of the IFSE Institute's Exempt Market Proficiency Course (EMP), is advantageous but not required.
  • Familiarity with trading activities and settlement processes.
