As an Investor Relations Analyst/Associate at Brookfield Asset Management, Inc, you will play a crucial role in our Infrastructure Group, recognized as one of the largest global investors in infrastructure assets. This position is based in Toronto, Canada.
About the Infrastructure GroupThe Infrastructure Group manages a substantial portfolio, with approximately $191 billion in assets across various sectors including transport, utilities, energy, and data infrastructure. Our operations span across North and South America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific regions, facilitating the movement and storage of essential resources.
Key Responsibilities- Execute investor relations strategies and engage with our investor base.
- Assist in capital raising efforts for Brookfield's infrastructure strategies and co-investments.
- Contribute to the creation of insightful content and thought leadership in our Infrastructure products.
- Support the quarterly reporting process by coordinating and preparing investor communications, including letters and operational updates.
- Organize investor meetings and roadshows for senior management, including the preparation of presentations and speaking notes.
- Conduct recurring investor tasks such as audit confirmations, wire transfers, and fund performance monitoring.
- Monitor market trends within the infrastructure sector and gather competitive intelligence.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Preference for candidates pursuing an MBA, CFA, or accounting designation.
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of valuation, financial statement analysis, and investment performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A keen interest in financial markets and investment strategies.
