Overview

FutureSight is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Investor Relations Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in startups, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, along with a genuine enthusiasm for fostering and scaling innovative ventures. This position calls for a strategic mindset paired with exceptional analytical capabilities, as well as a talent for building networks and communities.

About FutureSight

FutureSight operates as a Venture Studio with a presence in multiple locations, dedicated to supporting exceptional founders in launching B2B SaaS and Vertical AI enterprises. We are currently in the process of raising funds and seek an individual to enhance our Investor Relations strategy and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Outreach and Engagement:
    • Organize and implement events for Limited Partners (LP) and potential investors, both in-person and virtual.
    • Assist in marketing initiatives, content development, and outreach campaigns aimed at new investors.
    • Identify opportunities for speaking engagements and relevant conferences for the leadership team.
    • Develop and update presentation materials and marketing collateral for events and roadshows.
    • Maintain and track investor information within the CRM system.
  • Venture Capital Partnerships:
    • Support and eventually spearhead the capital acquisition strategy for FutureSight's portfolio.
    • Assess the investability of new ventures within the studio.
    • Research and implement capital readiness programs for CEOs and founders.
    • Engage with industry experts and active venture capital investors.
    • Assist in identifying and reaching out to target investors for early-stage ventures.
    • Lead outreach efforts to establish new angel and VC partnerships.
    • Facilitate introductions between founders and investors within our network.
    • Document partnership information in the CRM system.
    • Support founders in securing non-dilutive funding opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in investor relations, community engagement, sales operations, or a related field.
  • Preferred background in venture capital, startups, or investment banking.
  • A strong desire to learn about venture capital and the success of startups.
  • Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of business principles is essential.
  • Familiarity with the technology and startup ecosystem.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with external stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment regarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Outstanding organizational and administrative capabilities.
