Position Overview:

The Investor Relations Analyst will collaborate with the Director of Investor Relations and Marketing, focusing on analytics, marketing materials, and fostering relationships with the firm's stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and shareholders. The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of private equity, exceptional analytical capabilities, and outstanding communication skills. This position provides a remarkable opportunity to delve into the private equity sector, gain insights into various industries, and contribute significantly to Clairvest's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investor Communications Support: Co-develop and manage communication materials for limited partners (LPs):
    • Assist in creating pitchbooks for potential LPs.
    • Support existing LP communications, including quarterly reports, reporting dashboards, capital calls, and distribution notices.
    • Prepare for Clairvest's Limited Partner Annual General Meeting.
    • Work with the Investment team to provide updates on portfolio companies to LPs.
    • Assist with various operational aspects during the fundraising of private equity funds, including LP diligence requests and questionnaires.
    • Help manage relationships with current and prospective LPs, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement through accurate and timely reporting.
  2. Data Analysis: Conduct performance analysis of the portfolio in collaboration with the investment team, and understand market trends and competitive landscapes to support investor presentations and inquiries.
  3. External Marketing and Branding Support:
    • Assist with Clairvest branding initiatives, including website updates, LinkedIn engagement, and Mailchimp campaigns, as well as producing marketing materials for deal marketing.
  4. Reporting and Systems Management:
    • Maintain the Company's Limited Partner portal.
    • Update the track record and company profile on relevant industry databases such as Preqin and Pitchbook.
  5. Special Projects and Events: Assist with various special projects and events as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Preferred degree in Business or Accounting; CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
  2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or a related role within the finance sector.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and colleagues.
  5. Robust analytical and quantitative skills.
  6. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  7. Team-oriented with a commitment to shared success.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with tools like PowerBI and Canva is advantageous.
