About the Job Role

We invite you to consider the position of Administrative Clerk, where you will operate under general oversight, performing tasks of moderate complexity within the department. Reporting directly to the Manager of Policy and Planning, your role will encompass a variety of administrative and clerical responsibilities to facilitate the smooth functioning of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist four Directors in the Immigration and Population Growth Branch by managing their schedules, arranging travel, analyzing financial data, and acting as the primary contact point.
  • Compile reports utilizing statistical and financial information for management review.
  • Receive, categorize, and maintain official documents.
  • Address non-standard inquiries and issues from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft letters, reports, and resolve technical work-related challenges.
  • Coordinate support services and assign tasks as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess at least a grade 11 education along with four years of relevant experience. Essential skills include strong interpersonal abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and high accuracy in typing. Additional training in business or commercial fields is advantageous.

Work Environment
