Are you a seasoned human resources professional with a deep understanding of business dynamics and excellent relationship-building skills?

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Ontario Health atHome. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with leaders to build capabilities, plan and manage talent, and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives.

This is a critical role in executing our people strategy initiatives, providing outstanding internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance on employee and labour relations matters, including policy interpretation and application, collective agreement administration, and employment-related legislation.
  • Support performance and attendance management processes, including coaching and discipline as needed.
  • Develop and implement innovative quality human resources strategies/programs to support the recruitment and retention of top talent.
  • Support routine and ad hoc data collection and reporting for strategic planning and organizational initiatives.

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Disability Management Specialist to administer disability management programs, WSIB claims, and return-to-work planning as required.

Requirements:
  • University degree in business administration, human resource management, industrial or labour relations, or related field.
  • Minimum three to five years of progressive human resources experience in a formal advisory or partnership role with proven success as a human resources generalist.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of labour relations and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills to motivate, coach, educate, and negotiate with leaders and staff.
  • Discretion, judgment, and ability to handle confidential information, sensitive issues, and emotional situations.

We estimate that the salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the cost of living in the area where the position is located.
