Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team at Colas. This role will be responsible for partnering with division leaders to drive strategic planning initiatives and achieve business objectives.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a competitive retirement plan.

Responsibilities

The Strategic HR Business Partner will have the opportunity to:

  • Partner with division leaders to evaluate workforce needs and create competency-based interviews
  • Develop engaging onboarding programs to make new hires feel welcome
  • Tackle talent reviews, succession planning, and dynamic talent retention initiatives
  • Create individual development plans to guide operations through their personal growth journeys
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in human resources management
  • Strong employee relations experience
  • Post-secondary education in business and/or HR
  • A vehicle for transportation and extensive local travel
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
