Your Role: Director, Advanced Air Mobility - New Market Development

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development and growth of CAE's Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) business within new markets. As the Director, you will be responsible for building a strategic roadmap, identifying key partnerships, and driving revenue generation in this rapidly evolving sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for AAM within targeted new markets.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, including aircraft manufacturers, operators, regulators, and infrastructure providers.
  • Lead market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the AAM landscape.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team of professionals with expertise in AAM, business development, and sales.
  • Represent CAE at industry events and conferences to promote our AAM solutions and build brand awareness.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of AAM offerings into existing CAE products and services.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Business, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning within the aviation industry.
  • A pilot license and flying experience is a significant asset.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of building successful businesses and inspiring teams.
  • Strong understanding of the eVTOL market and its potential applications.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Highly analytical and results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in other languages is an advantage.
