Director of Advanced Air Mobility Initiatives

CAE's New Markets Group is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge training, engineering, and operational solutions for both private and public sectors globally. Our mission is to equip the next generation of pilots, maintainers, operators, and air traffic service providers. We are the innovators within CAE, approaching challenges with creativity and flexibility to tailor our solutions to meet client demands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A university degree, ideally in International Trade, Business, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • A pilot license and flying experience are significant advantages. An entrepreneurial mindset is essential for developing business strategies and motivating a team.
  • Proven experience in team building is crucial.
  • Familiarity with the eVTOL market is beneficial.
  • Ability to identify and pursue business and partnership opportunities.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and proficiency in oral and written communication. Experience presenting to large audiences and at international events is preferred.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a successful track record in engaging with middle and senior management as well as decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and expanding sales and business opportunities.
  • A positive attitude and a strong competitive spirit.
  • Client service orientation.
  • Strong business insight.
  • Creativity and a focus on innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in English, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • Experience in drafting focused briefs, reports, business letters, and business plans.
