CAE's New Markets Group is a pioneering team that provides innovative training, engineering, and operational solutions for private and public entities worldwide. Our mission is to help train the next generation of pilots, maintainers, operators, and air traffic service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and innovation in the eVTOL market.
  • Lead a team of professionals to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver training programs, engineering solutions, and operational services that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities and partnership opportunities with various parties.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the eVTOL market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to the team to ensure the successful execution of business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant field, such as International Trade, Business, Marketing, Finance, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, with a strong background in business development, leadership, and strategy.
  • Pilot license and flying experience are a strong asset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building a business strategy and inspiring a team to follow.
  • Experience building a team is essential.
  • Knowledge of the eVTOL market is an asset.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities and partnership opportunities with various parties.
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • High commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing with middle and senior managers through to decision makers.
  • Proven success in prospecting and growing sales and business opportunities.
  • Maintain a positive, keen attitude and a strong competitive drive.
  • Client service oriented.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to deal with various projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, driven work environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as good presentation skills in English. Other languages are an asset.
  • Experience in writing focused briefs, reports, business letters, and business plans.
