Overview

FutureSight is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented professional to enhance our Investor Relations initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in startups, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, along with a commitment to fostering and scaling innovative ventures. This position demands a strategic mindset, outstanding analytical capabilities, and a talent for building networks and communities.

About FutureSight

FutureSight operates as a Venture Studio, strategically positioned to support exceptional founders in launching B2B SaaS and Vertical AI enterprises. As we progress with our second fund, we are eager to find an individual who can bolster our Investor Relations strategy and initiatives for both FutureSight and our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Engagement and Outreach:
    • Organize and execute events for Limited Partners (LPs) and potential investors, both in-person and virtually.
    • Assist in marketing efforts, including content creation and outreach campaigns targeting new investors.
    • Identify opportunities for speaking engagements and relevant conferences for the leadership team.
    • Develop and update presentation materials and marketing collateral for events and roadshows.
    • Maintain and track investor information within the CRM system.
  • Venture Capital Collaboration:
    • Support and eventually spearhead the capital acquisition strategies for FutureSight's portfolio companies.
    • Assess the investability of new ventures within the studio.
    • Research and implement capital readiness programs for CEOs and founders.
    • Engage with industry experts and active venture capital investors.
    • Identify and connect with target investors for early-stage ventures.
    • Lead outreach efforts to establish new angel and VC partnerships.
    • Facilitate introductions between founders and investors within our network.
    • Document partnership information in the CRM system.
    • Assist founders in securing non-dilutive funding opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in investor relations, community engagement, sales operations, or related fields.
  • Experience in venture capital, startups, or investment banking is preferred.
  • A strong desire to learn about venture capital and the factors contributing to startup success.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of business principles is essential.
  • Knowledge of the technology and startup ecosystem.
  • Self-driven with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong presentation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable leading discussions with external stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment regarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.
