Technical Training Specialist

Role Overview: This position entails the orchestration, execution, co-creation, and ongoing enhancement of technical training initiatives for Daimler Truck across Australia, specifically for our brands: Freightliner, Fuso, and Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the delivery of product and technical training sessions, ensuring that training is conducted in an engaging and impactful manner to meet established learning goals, while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
- Maintain training equipment and facilities to guarantee a safe and productive environment for participants.
- Collaborate with the training team to ensure consistent alignment, while also managing the administrative aspects of training records, reports, and accounts.
- Optimize training course attendance to maximize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Maintain communication with global headquarters regarding current training methodologies; stay informed about industry trends and develop training strategies that incorporate innovative learning techniques.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess prior experience in delivering training within a product or technical context, preferably in the automotive sector. A portion of the role may require travel across various locations in Australia and New Zealand for training delivery, necessitating a flexible approach.
We value adaptable work arrangements; therefore, when not traveling or conducting training, there may be opportunities for remote work.
Ideal candidates will have robust technical expertise and hold a truck and bus driving license. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills are essential for effective communication and presentation to external stakeholders at all management levels.
A strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and a keen interest in developing sustainable and tailored training programs are crucial.
A high school diploma and tertiary qualifications in Automotive or Heavy Commercial Vehicle repair are preferred.
