Technical Support Specialist Level 1, Japanese

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist Level 1 who is fluent in Japanese to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional post-sales support for our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive telephone and email-based technical assistance for our software offerings.
  • Thoroughly investigate customer-reported issues and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Proactively communicate with customers regarding the status of their inquiries and provide updates on progress.
  • Strive to respond to all customer requests promptly, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Offer outstanding customer service concerning our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, addressing application inquiries and resolving customer questions.
  • Utilize various devices to replicate customer environments for effective troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • A solid grasp of the OSI model and foundational computer networking concepts (including Firewalls, Network Protocols, and Subnetting).
  • Familiarity with Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008/2012, and other relevant technologies (such as SQL and Virtual servers).
  • Understanding of mobile computing platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, with exceptions made for qualified candidates.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player attitude (flexible, hardworking, quick learner, self-motivated, results-oriented).
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and organize workload while consistently meeting service standards and objectives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Japanese.
