We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Trainer to join our team at DSM. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and facilitate occupational health and safety training programs and materials.
- Conduct internal safety program and management system reviews and audits.
- Assist in the development of departmental procedures and protocols.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical coordinators to develop best-in-class safety training content.

Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in occupational health and safety or a closely related field.
- Professional designation or certification in occupational health and safety (e.g. CRSP, CRST, CSP, CHSC).
- Minimum five years' experience as a health and safety practitioner and a qualified first aid instructor.
- Strong working knowledge of Nova Scotia OHS standards.
- Experience creating and facilitating occupational health and safety training.
