Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing Occupational Health & Safety training materials and programs
- Conducting evaluations of safety programs and systems
- Assisting in the formulation of departmental procedures
- Collaborating with industry experts to develop high-quality safety training content
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in occupational health and safety is preferred
- Professional certification is preferred (CRSP, CRST, CSP, CHSC)
- A minimum of five years' experience in health and safety
- Strong understanding of Nova Scotia OHS Standards
- Experience in facilitating Occupational Health & Safety training
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
