Technical Support Specialist Level 1, Japanese

Position Overview:

As a Technical Support Specialist Level 1 at SOTI, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional post-sales support for our innovative software solutions. Your expertise will help clients navigate and resolve technical challenges, ensuring a seamless experience with our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver telephone and email-based technical assistance for our software offerings.
  • Investigate customer-reported issues and collaborate with internal teams to achieve resolutions.
  • Proactively update clients on the status of their inquiries, enhancing their experience.
  • Respond to customer requests promptly, aiming to elevate overall satisfaction.
  • Provide top-notch customer service regarding our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, addressing application inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Utilize various devices to replicate customer environments for effective troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model and networking principles, including Firewalls, Network Protocols, and Subnetting.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and other technologies such as SQL and Virtual servers.
  • Knowledge of mobile platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred, with exceptions for qualified candidates.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
  • Able to effectively manage workload while adhering to service standards and objectives.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Japanese.
