**About Us**:
**Forestry and Parks** - We support Albertans in being proud stewards of air, land, water, Hunting, Fish and Wildlife and biodiversity by leading the work required for the desired environmental outcomes and sustainable development of natural resources.

**Role**:
Are you ready to play a crucial role in Alberta’s Ministry of Forestry and Parks, contributing to the responsible growth of the province’s wood products and forestry sector, protection against wildfires, preservation of provincial parks, management and allocation of fish and wildlife resources and sustainable land management?

We are looking for two dynamic Priority Issues Coordinators (PIC), one to join the Hunting and Fishing Branch and one to support Conservation Officers within the Environmental Enforcement Branch.

The PIC position is vital to branch operations, entrusted with coordinating, managing, and resolving issues that arise within the Branch promptly and responsibly. With responsibilities ranging from editing and strategic document review, to quality assurance leadership, you'll ensure the Branch delivers high-quality materials on time.

As a PIC, you'll be the driving force behind developing and managing strategic processes for accurate and timely briefings, correspondence, Cabinet submissions, and information packages, all aligned with our Division's operational plan and mandate. We are seeking individuals well-versed in issues management, communications, the strategic direction of the Government of Alberta, as well as the policy development cycle. Your ability to coordinate responses to information requests, manage branch procedures, monitor major initiatives, and support decision-making processes will be essential. You'll also play a key role in maintaining quality standards for materials, offering guidance on the policy approval process, and participating in policy and issues-based projects.
