Edmonton, Canada Priority One Transport Inc. Full time

**Priority One Transport Inc. is looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our team in Edmonton, AB. We are a family oriented company with newer well maintained equipment and on site fully equipped shop. We are looking for someone for Polymer Delivering in from Edmonton to Wabasca daily. The option to work 4 or 5 days per week. Pay rates are based on route rates and hourly pay over the set hours. Days are expected to be between 10-14 hours with pay based on which location delivery is made.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Document and log work/rest period with ELD systems
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Operate all equipment in a safe manner with expert care

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a Class 1 Driver
- Excellent knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Clean minimum 5 year Drivers Abstract
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)

Preference will be given to those that possess a valid First Aid and H2S Alive certificate. We will offer to pay for any training for the right person. On site training will be provided
