Job Summary

The Senior Sales Representative will utilize a consultative sales approach in the sale of waste management services to small and medium-sized businesses in an assigned territory/segment. The representative is responsible for prospecting and closing to achieve sales revenue goals by developing and implementing sound selling strategies that ensure revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare for and execute cold calls to influence potential commercial customers into setting appointments with the purpose of presenting and selling waste management services.
  • Facilitate prospect follow-up meetings by matching waste management services with customer needs, demonstrating knowledge of customers, pricing, and competition, and effectively communicating pricing and service strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver complex sales proposals.
  • Conduct post-sale administrative work to ensure product/service implementation is successful.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • One (1) year of business-to-business sales experience (in addition to education requirement).
  • Bilingual (French and English) - spoken and written.
  • Ability to set goals, proficient in time management, computer skills, high-impact communication, planning, and organization.
Work Environment

The Senior Sales Representative will work in a field-based position, traveling across Montreal Area to meet with customers. The position requires the ability to use motor coordination with finger dexterity, exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds, and be exposed to physical occupational risks and environmental elements.
