Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced National Sales Director to lead our Home Comfort division in Canada. As the ideal candidate, you will possess a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of developing national sales strategies and building world-class sales and marketing solutions.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities

The National Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales and developing the Canadian market for TCL's Home Comfort division. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and profitability;
  • Providing leadership to ensure the achievement of sales revenue targets and profitability;
  • Managing the activities of the sales organization to deliver world-class customer service and marketing strategy without compromising company profitability;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop sales and marketing plans, including product development, supply chain operations, and executive management;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and business partners;
  • Developing and executing sales training programs to enhance the skills of sales personnel;
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing strategies;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports on sales performance and market trends.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
  • At least 10 years of sales experience, with a proven track record in developing national sales strategies and building world-class sales and marketing solutions;
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, and positioning;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop insights to inform sales and marketing strategies.
