Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at BEST WESTERN PLUS. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of 16-20 staff members to ensure efficient hotel operations.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with special needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Coordinate and review work to ensure smooth hotel operations.
    • Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity.
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining records and reports.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
