Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and manage a team of 16-20 staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Guest Services
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Co-ordinate and review work to ensure seamless delivery of guest services.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, ensuring business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies, managing inventory and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Human Resources
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Work Environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and improve hotel operations.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
- Skills and Qualities
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
