Position Overview

The Hotel Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our establishment. This position requires a dedicated individual who can oversee daily operations and lead a team effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
Work Environment

This role is set in a dynamic hotel, motel, or resort environment where multitasking and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and perform the same duties as the team members you supervise.
  • Assist guests with special requirements to enhance their experience.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review the work of staff to ensure efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor new employees on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company standards.
  • Manage the operation of computer systems and equipment, arranging repairs as necessary to maintain service quality.
  • Order materials and supplies to support daily operations.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for supervising a team of approximately 16-20 individuals.
