Job Title: Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team at Impact Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a book of business, servicing clients in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining, and growing business.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a renewal book of business, working closely with producers and other staff members on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewal while following best practices and procedures.
  2. Initiate account planning with producers in advance of the renewal, maintaining high retention rates on your book of business.
  3. Coordinate, support, and discuss arising issues, creating comprehensive plans for existing clients.
  4. Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads, identifying cross-selling opportunities when appropriate.
  5. Prepare proposals for prospect and stewardship reviews for existing clients, managing account documentation (routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.).
  6. Review client's current coverage and exposures, loss experience, and analyze risk to determine product/service requirements.
  7. Maintain up-to-date workflow documentation and ensure workflows are followed, actively developing an increased knowledge of related insurance products.
  8. Participate in and/or conduct client meetings when necessary, participating in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. This is a hybrid position; must be able to work from the Mississauga office 3 days per week.
  2. 10 years of experience as a broker with 5 years working on large commercial accounts.
  3. Solid understanding of policy wordings/coverages.
  4. Ability to mentor others and proven negotiation skills.
  5. RIBO License is required.
  6. Strong attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  7. Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Compensation:
  1. Annual salary of $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience.
