Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Dr. Michaud Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the flow of information to ensure seamless communication among team members.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with patients, maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
  • Prepare and process insurance claims, as well as other necessary documentation, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system, ensuring easy access to patient records and documents.
  • Order supplies and manage inventory levels to meet the needs of the office.
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Enter and format electronic medical reports and correspondence, preparing spreadsheets and documents for review by management.
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Perform data entry tasks with precision and accuracy, ensuring timely completion of all assigned duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a physician's office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems (PMS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Judgment and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail and organizational abilities.
Work Environment:
