Sodexo - Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to drive growth in our Healthcare and Corporate Services divisions. As Director of Business Development for Healthcare and Corporate Services, you will lead the development of strategic plans to increase sales, improve client satisfaction, and expand market share.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in senior sales roles, with experience in B2B and B2C healthcare, business, or public environments. You will be responsible for setting winning deal strategies, defining strong value propositions, designing complex solutions, and developing competitive proposals that address client needs and drive improved conversion and win rates.

In addition to your sales expertise, you will also provide strategic thinking and support to Sales and Operations teams to retain clients and win new business. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial and operational perspectives, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams throughout the Global network.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Creating strategies to attain growth and retention targets through go-to-market campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  2. Designing complex solutions that utilize innovation to create value and differentiate Sodexo from competitors.
  3. Participating in the development of long-term strategic growth plans, including identifying potential future markets and anticipating trends.
  4. Leading a team of sales individuals to develop, mentor, and manage performance.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A post-secondary degree or graduate degree in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in senior sales roles, preferably in B2B & B2C healthcare, business, or public environments, including RFP experience.
  • 5+ years leading high-functioning sales teams.
  • Strategic and operational agility, clear understanding of the market, and ability to translate marketing insights into winning propositions.
  • Proven ability to create and operationalize long-term strategic plans.
  • Innovative leadership with a growth mindset.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
