  • Process and maintain patient records, medical orders, and related documentation

  • Coordinate scheduling and booking of patient appointments
  • Perform data entry and maintain electronic health records using specialized healthcare software
  • File and organize medical reports, test results, and other clinical documentation
  • Assist medical staff with administrative tasks and documentation requirements

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with healthcare information systems is preferred.

Requirements
  • Medical Office Administration diploma from an accredited institution OR minimum 1 year of recent clerical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Medical terminology certificate required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with healthcare information systems (e.g., Meditech) preferred
  • Demonstrated typing speed of 30 wpm minimum with high accuracy
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to work various shifts as required
  • Fluent in English with strong command of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Track record of maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $27.69 to $28.26 per hour, along with benefits that include extended health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
