Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team at MYRA Systems Corp.
About the Role:This is a full-time permanent position that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees and external clients with regards to computer systems, networks, and other related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to user requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software
- Maintain and update knowledge of IT infrastructure, network architecture, and system security
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services
- Document and track incidents, problems, and solutions using standardized tools and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an IT infrastructure environment
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ambitious and proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving processes
- Competitive salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
