At Blackman Support Services Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Advice and Training: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Problem Solving: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • System Administration: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, set up equipment for employee use, and perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements
  • Education: 5 years or more of experience in the field.
  • Skills: Networking software, networking hardware, security software, database software, MS Office, SQL, SharePoint, MS Exchange, server hardware, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, material requirements planning (MRP) system, cloud, virtualization.
  • Physical and Mental Demands: Work under pressure, sitting for extended periods, and multitasking.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, analytical, and efficient.
