Enterprise Sales Director for Eastern Canada

We are seeking an exceptional Enterprise Sales Director to lead our sales team in eastern Canada. With a focus on driving business growth, this individual will be responsible for managing a high-performing team of sales executives and developing strategic plans to penetrate new markets.
Job OverviewThis role is crucial in helping Verkada achieve its revenue objectives by executing a well-planned sales strategy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing enterprise sales teams, selling complex technical solutions, and building strong customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both French and English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment. A willingness to travel up to 50% within the region is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a high-performing team of sales executives, providing guidance and support to drive business growth
- Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand existing ones
- Become familiar with software or hardware industry experience in domains such as security software or hardware, computer networking, subscription, SaaS, or Cloud software
- Collaborate with other departments, including Enterprise Development, Sales Engineering, Channel Development, and partners to exceed revenue goals
- Drive enterprise reps to penetrate new, untapped markets with greenfield accounts and achieve quarterly targets
- 5-10+ years of experience in managing a high performing enterprise sales team selling complex technical solutions
- Proven success working on large Enterprise deals
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with peers, customers, and partners
- Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within the region
Verkada offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and commissions that are commensurate with on target earnings (OTE), career growth opportunities, and equity compensation in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs). The estimated annual salary range for this position is $240,000 - $330,000 USD.
