Business Development Representative

Archadeck of Nova Scotia is a trusted, highly successful company, and we are looking to expand our sales team to keep up with leads for our new brand, Lightscapes. This exciting opportunity allows you to join our seasoned sales team and see how high Lightscapes can soar.
The main focus of a Business Development Representative in this role is to generate and work with a steady stream of qualified leads and opportunities for Lightscapes. Your goal is to identify potential new customers and business prospects through research, cold outreach, and networking.
Job Scope:
- Research target companies, industries, and decision makers to identify new opportunities
- Conduct outbound sales activities like cold calls, emails, and social selling to engage prospects
- Qualify leads to determine if they are a good fit for the company's products/services
- Meet and conduct demos with qualified prospects
- Build relationships with potential customers and nurture leads through the early stages of the sales process
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential new customers and business prospects through research, cold outreach, and networking
- Work with leads who reach out directly to our receptionist about Lightscapes projects
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of related industry experience preferred
- A reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with sales processes and techniques
- Highly organized with great time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously
