Senior Administrative Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Prince Albert Grand Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Administrative Clerk to join its team. This position plays a vital role in the effective and efficient operation of the Housing & Technical Services Office.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including keying letters, memorandums, statistical and financial data, and other material from oral direction, rough draft, taped, or handwritten copy.
- Coordinate and prepare material for various meetings, including Housing & Technical Services Board Meetings.
- Organize and prepare material for major conferences, order department supplies, and arrange travel arrangements for staff members.
- Perform specialized and difficult administrative work, applying independent judgment, discretion, and initiative.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries in person, over the telephone, or referring them to another source of information.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the Technical Services Budget, Finance Codes, General Ledger, Year End Finances, Purchase Orders, and Invoices.
- Approve online Purchase Orders and assume signing authority for travel claims and cheque requisitions when the Director is unavailable.
Circuit Rider Training Program (CRTP) Building Maintenance:
- Track on-line CRTP trip reports for Building Maintenance.
- Email CRTP AANDC and fax PAGC First Nations & Communities.
- Invoice Indigenous Service Canada (ISC) quarterly for CRTP Program.
- Organize Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Workshops twice a year and make out cheque requisitions for participants.
