Job Overview

We are seeking an HR Specialist at Pure Industrial, reporting directly to the Vice President of Human Resources. This role involves managing employee relations, developing and executing HR policies, programs, and initiatives, while supporting the workforce throughout their employment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong HR expertise with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to employees across all HR functions and respond to inquiries efficiently;
  • Oversee leave and disability programs, ensuring adherence to established policies;
  • Offer insights on labor regulations and assist in policy interpretation;
  • Maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and manage employee transactions;
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives based on feedback received;
  • Conduct site assessments throughout the region;
  • Manage HR documentation and correspondence;
  • Assist in recruitment processes and onboarding procedures;
  • Draft and revise HR policies as necessary;
  • Undertake additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent experience;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist;
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with HRIS applications;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment;
  • Commitment to maintaining quality and confidentiality;
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
