Position Overview

As an HR Systems Consultant, you will be pivotal in enhancing and supporting our Workday system. Reporting directly to the Director of HR Systems, your contributions will be essential in shaping the future of our HR technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore the advancements of a dynamic cloud-based system to enhance the experiences of employees and managers.
  • Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders across various levels, including HR, finance, IT, management, and staff.
  • Engage in the ongoing development of the Workday system within a North American context, focusing on talent management and encompassing modules such as HR, Compensation, Performance, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Recruiting, Talent, and Training & Development.
  • Address and manage inquiries forwarded by the HR Service Center regarding HR systems.
  • Conduct initial assessments when issues arise.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants and specialists to identify root causes and devise effective solutions.
  • Perform validations, corrections, and configurations to ensure adherence to organizational protocols while maintaining data integrity.
  • Keep relevant teams informed throughout the resolution process.
  • Propose enhancements to processes aimed at increasing efficiency and minimizing service center inquiries.
  • Document identified solutions to expedite future issue resolutions.
  • Create test scenarios for system enhancements and corrections.
  • Execute and document functional testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, IT management, or human resources management.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in human resources, including compensation, performance, payroll, time and absence management, recruitment, and talent development.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Workday, is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Organizational skills, including planning, document management, and follow-up.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential for regular interaction with colleagues nationwide.
