Position Overview:

We are in search of a committed and skilled youth engagement facilitator to motivate and guide young people across various settings within Kinbridge. As a youth recreation leader, you will serve as a mentor, striving to promote personal growth and development among the youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement a range of adaptable recreational programs aimed at youth, emphasizing life skills and social competencies.
  2. Mentor and interact with young individuals, providing guidance and support to help them address personal and social challenges.
  3. Modify program content to cater to the diverse needs and interests of participants.
  4. Encourage a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes active involvement and personal development.
  5. Offer constructive feedback and motivation to assist youth in reaching their objectives.
  6. Maintain detailed records of participants' progress and program outcomes, including essential statistical data for funding purposes.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. First Aid certification is required.
  3. Completion of high school diploma or equivalent college degree in education, social work, recreation, child and youth work, or a related field.
  4. Demonstrated experience in mentoring or working with youth.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth populations.
  6. Experience in creating and delivering programs that focus on life skills and social development.
  7. Willingness to work in various locations and adapt programming as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: Starting at $17.20 per hour

Expected Hours: 5 – 15 hours per week
