Position Overview:
We are in search of a committed and skilled youth engagement facilitator to motivate and guide young people across various settings within Kinbridge. As a youth recreation leader, you will serve as a mentor, striving to promote personal growth and development among the youth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a range of adaptable recreational programs aimed at youth, emphasizing life skills and social competencies.
- Mentor and interact with young individuals, providing guidance and support to help them address personal and social challenges.
- Modify program content to cater to the diverse needs and interests of participants.
- Encourage a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes active involvement and personal development.
- Offer constructive feedback and motivation to assist youth in reaching their objectives.
- Maintain detailed records of participants' progress and program outcomes, including essential statistical data for funding purposes.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- First Aid certification is required.
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent college degree in education, social work, recreation, child and youth work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or working with youth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth populations.
- Experience in creating and delivering programs that focus on life skills and social development.
- Willingness to work in various locations and adapt programming as necessary.

Job Type: Part-time
Compensation: Starting at $17.20 per hour
Expected Hours: 5 – 15 hours per week
