**People Operations Coordinator**

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Coordinator, People to support our human resources department at Canucks Sports & Entertainment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate people-related processes, including scheduling, payroll, and administrative tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our hourly workforce, responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
- Administer late requests, schedule changes, and time-off requests while maintaining accurate records.
- Process payroll requirements, complete timesheets, and support recruitment activities.
- Track expiration dates and execute necessary actions for part-time staff work visas, security licenses, and other certifications.
- Support the recruitment team with interviews, reference checks, and job fairs.
- Administer probationary period completions, enter data into HRIS, and process compensation according to the plan.
- Prepare confirmation of employment letters and assist with event staff employee programs and events.

Requirements- Minimum 2 years' administrative experience, ideally in a human resources department.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Motivated by a high-volume workload in a busy administrative role, while continuously finding more efficient ways to perform tasks.
- Experience with databases and intermediate to expert level skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with a high-level customer service focus.
- A self-starter attitude that puts thought, creativity, and ingenuity into work assignments.
- Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings/weekends, as required.
- Knowledge of payroll systems and timesheet processing.
- Certificate or Diploma in a Human Resources related program, or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a hospitality environment.
