Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Head of People Operations to lead our people and culture organization. As a strategic partner to our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing talent development strategies, compensation and benefits plans, and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Operations Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of people operations strategies, including talent development, compensation, and benefits.
  • Talent Development: Develop and implement talent development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including training, mentorship, and coaching.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and productivity.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement compensation and benefits plans to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • HR Business Partner: Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing HR expertise and guidance on people-related matters.
  • Culture Ambassador: Promote and maintain Hiive's culture, values, and mission, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing talent development strategies, compensation and benefits plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior leadership and employees.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Experience working in a quickly growing startup company, preferably in the fintech or capital markets industry.
