Position Overview

As a Kitchen Management Specialist at Fabric People & Food Inc., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our culinary team. Your leadership will ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within a culinary environment
Work Environment
  • Conditions: Noisy and hot kitchen atmosphere

Key Responsibilities
  • Order and manage kitchen supplies and food inventory
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate and manage ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 culinary staff members.
