- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role within a culinary environment
- Conditions: Fast-paced, noisy, and hot kitchen setting
- Transportation: Public transportation is accessible
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
- Train new staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Estimate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates for kitchen operations
- Address customer complaints and concerns effectively
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Prepare and submit operational reports
- Establish and manage work schedules for kitchen staff
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 kitchen staff members.
Physical and Personal Requirements- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Standing for extended periods and walking is required
