Job Responsibilities

Area Revenue Optimization Manager

In collaboration with multiple properties, the Area Revenue Optimization Manager is tasked with enhancing revenue streams and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Management, the role encompasses the following:

Collaborating with the revenue management team to synchronize strategies across multiple hotels, collectively managing over 2200 guest accommodations. Assisting in the formulation of long-term strategies with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the revenue management team, focusing on pricing and sales tactics. Leading weekly revenue maximization meetings to drive profitability and manage operational efficiencies. Actively participating in strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and budget development. Mentoring and training revenue management analysts to enhance team capabilities. Refining pricing strategies in alignment with market demand and distribution channels. Guiding sales managers in crafting compelling rate offers tailored to target markets. Partnering with marketing teams to optimize visibility for various promotional offers. Ensuring cohesive inventory and pricing strategies across the cluster properties while monitoring competitive positioning. Collaborating with the revenue management team to identify the optimal business mix based on demand trends. Conducting competitive analysis to inform pricing and yield strategies. Continuously assessing distribution models and their effects on consumer booking behaviors. Coordinating with the brand distribution team for efficient reservation processing. Executing special projects aimed at discovering innovative revenue generation opportunities. Liaising with various departments to uphold exceptional guest service while maximizing profitability. Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of analytical reports. Staying informed about industry trends and their potential impact on demand. Engaging in ongoing training and development initiatives. Preparing regular reports as required. Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

Strategic mindset with a proven ability to implement actionable plans. Effective communicator with the ability to present ideas clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Demonstrated team-building capabilities and a successful track record. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in automated systems and office software, particularly Excel and Word. Familiarity with property management and revenue management systems is advantageous. Previous experience in revenue management or related fields is preferred, with a minimum of two years in relevant roles. A degree in a related field is preferred. Additional Information
