Job Summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our BC – Lower Mainland sales team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving rental revenue and profit objectives, managing rental rates, and collaborating with branch operations personnel to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive rental revenue and profit growth.
  • Manage rental rates and pricing to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with branch operations personnel to ensure seamless customer service and support.
  • Assist the Credit Department in their collection efforts and collaborate with Fleet Management to pursue lucrative equipment sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction equipment rental industry or equivalent, with at least 6 years of Sales Management experience.
  • Strong time management, presentation, and negotiating skills.
  • Broad knowledge of construction equipment and industry trends.
  • A business undergraduate degree would be a significant asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Availability to travel regularly throughout the region.
