Job Responsibilities

Area Revenue Optimization Manager

In collaboration with multiple properties, the Area Revenue Optimization Manager is tasked with enhancing revenue and profitability across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Management, the following duties are essential:

Collaborate with the revenue management team to synchronize strategies across multiple hotels to enhance brand competitiveness. Develop and implement long-term strategies with the Director of Sales and Marketing and the revenue management team, focusing on pricing and sales tactics. Lead weekly revenue maximization meetings to inform profitability decisions. Participate actively in strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and budgeting processes. Mentor and train revenue management analysts to foster skill development. Refine pricing strategies and stay restrictions in alignment with market demand across all distribution channels. Guide sales managers in crafting compelling rate offers tailored to specific customer segments. Work closely with marketing teams to optimize visibility for various promotional offers. Ensure cohesive inventory and pricing strategies among cluster properties while monitoring competitive positioning. Collaborate with the regional revenue management team to determine the optimal business mix based on demand trends. Analyze competitive pricing and yield strategies to anticipate market reactions. Continuously assess distribution models and their effects on consumer booking behavior. Coordinate with the brand distribution team for efficient reservation processing. Undertake special projects aimed at discovering innovative revenue generation methods. Liaise with various departments to maintain high guest service standards while maximizing profitability. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of analytical reports. Stay informed about industry trends and their potential impact on demand. Engage in ongoing training and personal development initiatives. Prepare regular reports as required, including weekly, monthly, and annual summaries. Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills:

Strong strategic thinking abilities with a proven track record of executing plans effectively. Comfortable presenting ideas clearly and persuasively in group settings. Demonstrated experience in analytical problem-solving. Proven team-building capabilities and a successful history in collaborative environments. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Highly organized with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities under pressure. Proficient in using automated systems and office software, including Excel and Word. Familiarity with revenue management systems and property management tools is advantageous. Previous experience in revenue management or related fields is preferred, with a minimum of two years in relevant roles. A degree in a related field is preferred. Additional Information
