Micieli Design is actively seeking a Business Development Associate to join our team and become a key player in our success story. As a Business Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving our initial growth, building valuable relationships, and making a direct impact on the trajectory of our company. As we continue to expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time Business Development Expert to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients within the luxury interior design industry.
- Business Networking: Utilize existing networks and establish new connections within the industry, including builders, developers, architects, and commercial stakeholders.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leading the process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities, such as architects, contractors, and suppliers, to enhance service offerings and expand market reach.
- Project Coordination: Liaise with internal design teams to align client requirements with project deliverables, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
- Commercial Projects: Leverage experience in commercial interior design projects, including restaurants, offices, and other commercial spaces, to diversify business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline development, utilizing CRM systems to track progress and identify areas for growth.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions, showcasing our expertise and establishing thought leadership within the luxury interior design sector.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in business development or sales within the luxury interior design industry.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including builders, developers, and commercial clients.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends within the luxury interior design space.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Experience in commercial interior design projects, particularly within the restaurant and office sectors, is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
